An exported AI website is useful when you can inspect the files, preview the result and publish it to a compatible host. Vibe AI Builder creates website pages with HTML, CSS and browser JavaScript, supports preview and editing, and provides export and publishing workflows. Before publishing, check what the exported project includes and what still depends on an external service.
Inspect the export before selecting hosting
Open the archive and identify the homepage, other pages, styles, scripts and images. Check whether navigation uses relative links that remain valid after upload. A multi-page website needs its linked pages and assets, not just the homepage file.
An exported static site can include a form or interface without including the server that handles it. If a contact form calls an API, the API must exist and be configured separately. Payments, accounts and persistent data also need a working service; visual elements alone do not implement those operations.
Preview the complete website
Preview every important page and follow the navigation. Check image paths, contact details, spelling and layout on a narrow screen. Test a form against its intended service using non-sensitive test data. Inspect browser requests when a page behaves differently from its preview.
- Open the homepage and each linked page.
- Follow links between pages and confirm that images and styles load.
- Check mobile navigation and readable text.
- Test any external API, form or third-party integration.
- Keep an export of the version you intend to publish.
Choose a compatible publishing destination
For HTML, CSS and browser JavaScript, choose a host that can serve the files and connect the domain you need. If the project also needs a server process or database, select an environment that supports those requirements. Export ownership does not make every hosting environment compatible with every application.
Use the Builder FTP publishing workflow, or download the files and transfer them with a tool compatible with your host. Use the hostname, port and site directory supplied for the actual destination. When using a separate transfer tool, choose an encrypted protocol supported by that host and tool. Confirm the target before allowing a release to replace existing files.
Prepare a safe release
If a website is already live, back up its current files before replacing them. Verify the correct remote directory so you do not upload into a different site. Keep passwords and API secrets out of browser code and public files. A secret placed in JavaScript downloaded by a visitor is available to that visitor, even if the file was generated automatically.
For a simple static export, the release may consist of an index.html file, other HTML pages and their assets. Preserve the directory structure when uploading. Uploading only a screenshot or the editor's project description does not publish the website.
Verify the public result
Open the public URL and test the same page routes you checked in preview. Verify HTTPS, images, navigation and forms. If the site is published under a subdirectory, check asset URLs for assumptions about the domain root. Keep a local copy of the release so future edits and migrations have a clear starting point.
Continue with the existing tools
Use Vibe AI Builder to create, preview and refine the website. Review the website hosting options when choosing a destination, and use the domain guide for the next step. Current Builder availability, credits and publishing limits are shown in the relevant product and workspace screens.
