How to review a website on mobile: test enquiries and submissions

Check narrow-screen layout, menus, forms and key customer actions on the actual website, including longer text and inner-page entry.

A mobile review should test how the website behaves, not only whether a screenshot looks attractive. Use a narrow screen, open an inner page directly and complete the main customer action. This reveals problems that a desktop preview can hide.

Check the layout with real content

Use the actual service names, contact details and language versions. Long headings, addresses and translated buttons can expose overflow that placeholder text misses. Test a small screen as well as the phone size used during design.

Look for horizontal page scrolling, text hidden by fixed elements and buttons pushed beyond the visible area. Long content can scroll naturally; the relevant question is whether visitors can reach the information and controls they need.

Complete the important interactions

  • Open and close the menu, then follow a service link.
  • Follow the primary action from both home and an inner page.
  • Fill the form and inspect errors with the on-screen keyboard present.
  • Check that floating support or promotional controls leave actions reachable.
  • Verify links, images and readable contrast in the intended appearance.

Give links and buttons enough spacing to distinguish adjacent actions. Do not rely only on hover behavior for information or controls that touch users need.

Retest the published version

A responsive editor preview is a useful first check. Also visit the exported or hosted version because asset paths, fonts and external scripts may behave differently there. Use a real touch device when available and keep a short note of the viewport, page and action that failed.

In Vibe Hosting AI Builder, request a specific revision tied to that observation, such as shortening a menu label or moving a floating element away from a form button. After the revision, repeat the same action and confirm the result before adding unrelated visual changes.
